Our parish was greatly blessed to host a spiritual retreat that began on Sunday, 28th June, and concluded on Wednesday, 1st July. The retreat was conducted by members of the Vincentian Congregation and was led by Fr. Michael, the Retreat Master, who was assisted by Fr. Newton and Br. Francis. Through their inspiring preaching and profound reflections, they offered the faithful deep spiritual insights that encouraged personal conversion and a closer relationship with God.
The retreat was a great success, with Christians turning up in large numbers from the very first day to the final session. Their commitment, active participation, and cooperation throughout the retreat demonstrated their eagerness to grow in faith and deepen their spiritual lives.
Each day was marked by inspiring teachings, moments of prayer, reflection, and opportunities for spiritual renewal. The retreat challenged the faithful to embrace God's mercy, renew their Christian commitment, and live the Gospel more faithfully in their families and communities.
The parish community is sincerely grateful to Fr. Michael, Fr. Newton, and Br. Francis for their dedication, wisdom, and tireless service throughout the retreat. Their deep spiritual insights and guidance touched many lives and made the retreat a truly enriching experience.
We also thank all the Christians who participated wholeheartedly and cooperated so well from the beginning to the final day, contributing to the success of this important spiritual event. May the fruits of this retreat continue to strengthen our parish community in faith, hope, and love as we journey together in Christ.
